Terbutaline:

Terbutaline is a bronchodilator medicine that is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing etc. associated with asthma. It is used to treat an acute attack of asthma as well as for prevention of further asthma attacks.

Bromhexine:

Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent which reduces the thickness of sputum. It is used to treat conditions with abnormal mucus secretion such as a common cold, infections of the respiratory tract, influenza, etc. to allow the patient to breathe freely and deeply. It should be used with caution in patients with a known history of gastric ulcers due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Guaifenesin:

Guaifenesin is an expectorant that is used in the treatment of a cough. This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients less than 2 years of age and only under the supervision of your doctor.
menthol is a covalent organic compound made synthetically or obtained from peppermint or other mint oils.

Forming clear or white waxy, crystalline substance, menthol is typically solid at room temperature. (-)-Menthol is the naturally-occurring and main form of menthol. Menthol mediates anesthetic properties and anti-irritating properties locally.

Indications of LETKUF-BX

Bromhexine(mucolytic), Guaifenesin(expectorant),Terbutaline (bronchodilator) and Menthol(Cooling agent). LETKUF-BX syrup is indicated in productive cough, bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, smoker?s cough and bronchospasm.

Side Effects

Common side effects are Nausea, Indigestion, Bloating, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Dizziness, Headache, Sweating, Skin rash, Hives, Tremor, Increased heart rate and Palpitations.
