Linezolid
Linezolid is a synthetic antibiotic, the first of the oxazolidinone class, used for the treatment of infections caused by multi-resistant bacteria including streptococcus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The drug works by inhibiting the initiation of bacterial protein synthesis.

Indication of LINZOCHEM

Linezolid, a synthetic antibiotic of oxazolidinone class used for the treatment of infections caused by multi-resistant bacteria. It acts by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria and is prescribed in cases of respiratory infections, skin & soft tissue infections, diabetic foot infections, bone infections & other resistant infections.

Side Effects

Most commonly reported side effects are Diarrhoea, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Oral Candidiasis, Vaginal candidiasis, other fungal infections, Insomnia, Metallic taste, Anaemia, Pruritus & Rash.
